About the Institute

Founded in 2001, the Advanced Solutions Technical Institute has spent over two decades at the forefront of technical and vocational education in Trinidad & Tobago — delivering programmes that meet global standards and serve the real needs of Caribbean industry.

ASTI was established to bridge the critical gap between academic learning and the practical, industry-ready skills demanded by employers across the Caribbean region. Operating from Trinidad & Tobago, the Institute offers a comprehensive range of diploma and certificate programmes spanning Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronic Technology, Network Security, Information Technology, Business Management, Healthcare Sciences, and Hospitality — each designed in direct consultation with regional industry partners to ensure graduates enter the workforce prepared, credentialed, and competitive.

Accredited by eight internationally recognised bodies — including TEEX (Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service), EduQual, the Electronics Technicians Association (ETA), the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT), CWNP, the National Training Agency (NTA), the Electronic Security Association (ESA), and the European International University (EIU) — ASTI's qualifications are respected by employers regionally and abroad. Our graduates and corporate trainees serve at organisations including TSTT, Digicel, T&TEC, Cable & Wireless, Columbus Communications, the Ministry of Education, and the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago.
